If you've driven down Country Club Road in Endicott you've seen Boris the Skeleton who is literally he's impossible to miss because he literally stands twelve feet tall.

The story goes that Scott Varcadipane and his finance put up Boris one Halloween, and the response to the ginormous skeleton was so great that they decided to keep him around even after the Halloween holiday, incorporating him into their Christmas decorations.

Boris didn't leave after Christmas though. He stayed for Valentine's day and then St. Patricks's day and Easter and he's stayed ever since. Each holiday Scott Varcadipane and his fiance step up their decorating game and this Halloween is no different. Boris the Skeleton isn't just an over-the-top decoration - the couple who own him also sell merchandise with the image of Boris on it and then give a portion of the proceeds to local charities.

This month, t-shirts and totes are for sale to benefit M-EALS. M-EALS stands for Maine-Endwell Assisting Local Spartans. This program works strictly off of donations and not money from any school funds to help supplement the nutritional needs of families on weekends and during holiday breaks.
