Drugs Seized During Endwell Traffic Stop
An Endwell man is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after his vehicle was stopped by authorities on North Street March 21.
Officials say 30 year old Edward Blatchford was arrested after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force found about 3 grams of heroin, some crystal methamphetamine, narcotic pills, marijuana, drug packaging materials, digital scales and $1,533 in suspected drug sale proceeds.
Blatchford was also wanted on a warrant for criminal possession of stolen property out of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Blatchford is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of criminal using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
