  • 1 cup of chocolate stout
  • 2¼ cups of flour

  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • About ⅔ cup of chocolate chips for topping
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 and grease an 8x4 inch bread pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and brown sugar until all combined.
  3. Whisk in the chocolate stout.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk until all combined.
  5. Pour into the greased bread pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes- until the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

YUM! I think this would be a delicious bread to have for breakfast!
