There's been a nationwide outbreak of salmonella in recent weeks and the CDC believes it to be in connection to pig ear treats that you feed your dogs, who have also suffered from the illness.

The CDC is telling owners to stop feeding their dogs pig ears to stop the spread of sickness in both humans and dogs.

34 people over the past two weeks have fell ill due to salmonella and a total of 127 have gotten salmonella poisoning in connection to the pig ears, according to the CDC.

The treats likely came from many different suppliers, which led to the outbreak.
