Broome County Woman to Appear on HGTV’s House Hunters
HGTV's House Hunters is most definitely a pop culture phenomenon, attracting views of all ages, and this Wednesday evening, a Binghamton area woman and her realtor will appear on the show in search of the perfect home.
The daughter of opera singers, Andrea Gregori graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance. Gregori began her career as a dancer and choreographer before moving to opera. Today, Gregori performs with the Tri Cities Opera and calls Broome County home.
Gregori explained to Spectrum News that she is friends with local realtor Jeri Sarrage who knew Gregori had been looking for a home for quite some time. Sarrage played a large part in helping the Lovelass family find the Belva Lockwood Inn in Owego and their journey was also featured on HGTV’s House Hunters. When producers called and asked Sarrage if she knew anyone else looking for a home, she knew just the person- Gregori.
While Gregori had a list of several must-haves, there was one requirement she refused to budge on and that was the need for hardwood floors because she practices singing at home and hardwood floors provide excellent acoustics.
Gregori told Spectrum News that filming took five days and that, "We managed to capture almost every season in those five days. We had some sunshine, we had some flurries. It was a bit of a whirlwind."
Gregori found the home of her dreams and you can watch it all unfold on the Wednesday, August 19 episode of House Hunters which will air on HGTV at 10:30 p.m.
