Broome and Chenango Counties are among localities that are also keeping a standby list for when appointments open up.  Being on the list does not guarantee and appointment, but if you have a flexible schedule, you may be able to get in for a shot if someone cancels.  County Health Departments say they want to make sure all openings are taken and all available shots administered.
