Bradford County continues to be a hotspot in the state for infections adding 276 COVID-19 cases in the last week from November 16-23. One additional death was reported for the week bringing the toll to 30.  Susquehanna County lost two more residents for a death toll of 32. 69 new cases were recorded and Wayne County, which has maintained 12 fatalities for several weeks, recorded 58 new cases.

Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health, Doctor Rachel Levine announced November 23 that Pre-K to 12 public schools in counties where there has been a substantial transmission level for at least two consecutive weeks have to commit to safety measures or move to fully remote learning and cancel all extracurricular activities.  Bradford County has been listed as a substantial risk area for over a month.
