A few hours after the body was found, Captain Erik Dauber confirmed that the body was that of the missing Glen Aubrey woman.

State police had said Weese and her husband had been at a party in Apalachin early Sunday morning. When their vehicle became disabled a short distance from the party, Weese reportedly walked off and was last seen on Main Street.

Investigators utilized a helicopter, drones and canine units over the last several days in their effort to locate Weese. Now, they'll focus on determining how she died.
