Emergency Services agencies around the region are cautioning motorists and pedestrians to be wary of the possibility of slippery conditions.

Warmer temperatures recently provided for some melting on sidewalks and road surfaces but overnight temperatures well below freezing have caused some of that runoff to refreeze, sometimes in the form of black ice.

There have been no reports of serious crashes but there have been several calls about injuries from falls.
