Binghamton Police Skip the Razor for November
November and that means things are getting a little hairy. No Shave November seeks to raise awareness of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer by men avoiding the razor for the month.
One group taking part is the Binghamton Police Department. Several law enforcement agencies waive regulations on facial hair for the month.
This is the second year the Binghamton Police is raising money for the month of November for cancer research as part of the American Cancer Society’s Grow Nation Campaign.
This year, The Colonial and Dos Rios Restaurants in Downtown Binghamton are helping the police raise money.
