Binghamton Police Investigate Reported North Side Stabbing
A section of Chenango Street in Binghamton was closed by police following a report of a man with an apparent stab wound.
Police and medics were sent to Chenango and Frederick streets around 3:20 a.m. Thursday to investigate a possible stabbing.
A bleeding man who was found by officers was transported to a hospital.
City police declined to provide information about the investigation.
Uniformed officers were observed collecting possible evidence on Chenango Street across from the Binghamton Plaza.
Police also searched the North Side neighborhood around the Town & Country apartment complex.
