Binghamton Family Dollar Shoppers Warned of Possible COVID Exposure
The Broome County Health Department is advising shoppers at the Family Dollar store on Chenango Street in Binghamton on August 8th or the 9th to self-quarantine until August 23 or 24th as a worker has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Officials say the employee was at the store on August 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on August 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Anyone who visited the store during the days and hours in question should contact their health care provider if they develop symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, difficulty breathing, aches, loss of taste and smell and nausea.
