Binghamton Carousels Open for Season

Binghamton Mayor Richard David officially opens the carousels in the city for the season.

The merry-go-rounds at Recreation and Ross Park are open May 28 through September 5.

The recreation park carousel operates Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday noon to 7:45 p.m. until June 20 when it will run daily noon to 7:45 p.m.  The Ross Park Zoo’s carousel operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

All of the carousels in Broome County are free with only a request that litter be picked up and deposited in waste containers at the merry-go-rounds as “admission”.
