The Binghamton Bearcats downed the UMass Lowell River Hawks 58-53 in women's basketball at the Events Center on Wednesday night.  The win puts the Bearcats conference record at 6-7 and 11-15 overall.

Kai Moon hit five of her eight three-point attempts and finished with 19 points to pace the Bearcats offense.  Carly Boland also notched a double figure game with 11 points.

The Bearcats next game is in Burlington, Vermont where they meet the Catamounts on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. (air at 1:45 with Cam Lavallee on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM).  Both teams are jockeying for the highest playoff position possible.  Heading into Saturday Vermont has a 7-7 conference slate and in fifth place in America East.  Binghamton is in sixth place right behind the Catamounts at 6-7.
