‘Avengers: Endgame’ Reactions: Here’s What the Critics Think (SPOILER FREE)
The first reactions to Avengers: Endgame are here.
Even with all the hype, it appears the latest Marvel movie surpassed all expectations. In fact, the film's stars said they were incredibly emotional after watching it, too. "I cried like six times," Chris Evans (Captain America) told the audience at the world premiere on Monday night (April 22), before Chris Hemsworth (Thor) said, “I cried, I think more than 6 times."
We've also rounded up reviews from movie critics, but don't worry because we only included spoiler-free reactions.
Erik Davis, the managing editor of Fandango.com, called the movie a "masterful epic."
Collider.com editor Steven Weintraub said Endgame is an "epic conclusion to 10 years of Marvel movies."
CinemaBlend film editor Eric Eisenberg tweeted that he was "absolutely floored" by the film, adding that it's "everything you want it to be and more" and "without question [his] new favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe film."
Peter Sciretta, editor and owner of SlashFilm.com, said the film "surpasses all expectations" and that he cried over five times.
Finally, Forbes contributor Mark Hughes called Endgame the "film of the year."
