The rumbling started out low in 2017 and grew to a roar two week ago when both local and national media outlets began to speculate that former NFLer Tim Tebow would start with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies during their 2018 season.

On Wednesday, the Rumble Ponies officially confirmed what had been on everyone's lips- Tim Tebow really is coming to Binghamton. He really will don a Rumble Ponies jersey, really will be a position player for the team and really will start during the season opener on Thursday, April 5th when the Binghamton Rumble Ponies take on the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium.

Two days before the Binghamton Rumble Ponies begin their 2018 season, on April 3rd, a Meet the Ponies Dinner will be held at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Binghamton. Tickets are already on sale and were expected to sell out, but perhaps even faster than previously anticipated with this morning's confirmation, made by Binghamton Rumble Ponies front office staffers that Tim Tebow will, in fact, join the rest of his teammates at the dinner.

According to the Rumble Ponies, players will arrive at the Holiday Inn at 5:30 P.M. for an autograph session. Dinner will be served at 7 P.M. and will be followed by an interview with Rumble Ponies manager Luis Rojas and a special introduction of the new coaching staff and players.

Meet the Ponies dinner tickets are $35 per person ($30 to those who are 2018 members of the Rumble Club). Tickets may be purchased by calling 607-722-FUNN or at by visiting the Starting Gate Box Office at NYSEG Stadium.
