Fear not if you have noticed more hair in the shower or on your brush than normal, there could be a good reason for it. Bustle explains that you may shed more during certain times of the year than others, and it's not because you're balding.

The end of summer and into the fall, your hair goes into a phase called Telogen Hair Loss which just means that it stops growing and falls out.

While more research needs to be done before we really know why your hair does this when it does, it seems to be similar in other mammals who shed to make room for more hair growth going into the winter when it gets colder and skin needs more protection.

Good 'ol evolution at work for you! So don't worry yourself into further hair loss, you will be growing it all back before it gets too cold.
