What Does Your Dad Really Want For Father’s Day?

I don't know about you, but the days of getting my dad a tie are long gone. Actually, I have no idea what to get him anymore. I struggle every year.

And, he is at the age where he doesn't lie, or pretend he likes something. In fact, he has come right out and told me he hates gifts I got him. I hope we all get to that point in our lives.

I guess a gift certificate somewhere would work, but I feel that those are so things you get as a last resort when you can't think of anything personal. He even hates scratch offs.

So, this year I am getting my dad two things. First, I am getting him a math tutor. I think he is one of those old school Italians that is too proud to say he needs help with his math, but he does.

He tells me all the time that I am his 8th favorite child. He only has seven.

The other thing I am going to get him is an etiquette class on answering the telephone. Every single time I call, he picks up and says, "WHAT?" That's not very inviting.

So, hopefully those two things will help him and he will like them.
