The National Weather Service says there is a potential for flash flooding due to some thunderstorm activity into early June 2.

According to the Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by NOAA, showers and thunderstorms are expected Friday, June 1. Some thunderstorms could produce heavy rain with a potential for isolated flash flooding. Dangerous cloud to ground lightning and small hail are also possible.

Residents are advised to keep up on the latest conditions and be aware of the potential for weather alerts to be issued if severe weather develops,  Motorists should also keep in mind that visibility could be reduced during heavy thunderstorms along with the potential for pooling of water on roads making for a hydroplaning hazard.
