When you've had too much to drink the night before, you may be willing to do anything possible in order to make yourself feel better. Bustle says that there are quite a few things that you can try in order to relieve your hangover.

  • Drink water because you are more than likely dehydrated from the drinking the night prior as alcohol is a diuretic. Your headache will likely go away once you re-hydrate yourself.
  • Ginger or peppermint can help relieve any nausea that you may have, so sipping on mint tea or eating ginger candies may do the trick for you.
  • Sleeping it off is a tried and true way to get over your hangover. If you have no place to be until the afternoon, sleeping in could allow you to doze right through your hangover.

There are some things that could make your hangover worse, but these methods are great at alleviating most of your hangover symptoms.
