Would you go to the New York state fair if it was held in February? How about if it was held inside in February?

The organizers of The Great New York State Fair, which takes place the last few weeks of August every year, have decided to host a Winter State Fair at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse February 8th through the 10th.

Just about everything will be taking place inside the Expo Center so you won't be out in the elements. However, there will be some outdoor winter activities to enjoy as well.

You will be able to enjoy some of your fair favorites like rides, exhibits, food, and live music.

According to WFRG-FM, some of the bands will include The Todd Hobin Band, The Blacklites, The Chris Taylor Custom Band, and others. WFRG-FM reports that some of the rides featured inside the Expo Center will include a giant slide, a fun house, tilt-a-whirl, merry go round, and several amusement games.

Advance tickets go on sale November 19th.

I think this is a great idea. By the second week of February, a lot of people will have cabin fever and will want to do something instead of sitting inside and watching TV.

It's going to be affordable, family fun. According to WFRG-FM, tickets will be $4 for adults, $2 for teens and seniors, and kids under 12 will be admitted for free.
