I mentioned this on the air this morning and I pray that it comes true.

Cancer sucks, and it has touched the lives of just about every person in one way or another. I lost my brother as well as some good friends to cancer over the years. My wife and I are both cancer survivors. We are the lucky ones.

There are scientists from Israel that are claiming they will likely develop a cure for cancer within a year's time. According to the New York Post, the Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that a new treatment is being developed by The Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies. According to the New York Post, the chairman of the company's board, Dan Aridor, was quoted as saying;

"We believe we will offer in a year's time a complete cure for cancer. Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and have no minimal side effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market"

The treatment will be called MuTaTo, and according to the New York Post, will specifically kill cancer cells using cancer targeting peptides and a toxin.

How awesome would it be if a year from now we would have medicine that truly cures cancer? I hope the medicine actually works like the scientists hope it will, and pray the U.S. doesn't take too long to allow it to hit the market in the United States if it does indeed work the way these scientists are predicting it will.
