One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at a busy Binghamton intersection.

A car collided with a sport utility vehicle at Court and Carroll streets around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The crash involved a 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and a 2010 Dodge Charger.

The driver of the TrailBlazer was transported by a Binghamton Fire Department ambulance to a hospital. The extent and nature of injuries was not known.

A man who drove the Charger was not injured.

The TrailBlazer crashed into the west side of an abandoned building at 161 Court Street. The structure once housed the Kennedy's Corner restaurant.

Court Street was closed between Centenary and Jay streets while tow crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the crash scene.
