Authorities say a teenage girl who was reported missing from her town of Chenango home has been located.

According to a Broome County Sheriff's Office news release issued Thursday evening, 17-year-old Ali Masland was found to be in good health. The statement indicated that no foul play was suspected in her disappearance.

Earlier in the day, officials announced that the sheriff's office was conducting a missing persons investigation.

Masland reportedly had left her West Chenango Road residence around 5 p.m. Wednesday and had not returned.

Investigators had said it was possible the girl had left willingly with an unknown man.

After Masland was located, she was transported by the sheriff's office to her home.

Officials did not provide any additional information concerning her disappearance but they did thank the public for providing assistance during the investigation.
