House Speaker Stumps for Tenney in Southern Tier

A major figure on the National political stage is to be in the Binghamton area October 16, trying to boost the reelection bid of Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

For now, just where House Speaker Paul Ryan will be appearing is not being widely released.

Tenney is in a tight race with Democrat Anthony Brindisi in the 22nd District.

Ryan is expected to make another Southern Tier stop to help an incumbent.  He’s said to have plans to appear in the 19^th district represented by John Faso of Kinderhook as the midterm elections loom only three weeks away.

Faso faces Democrat, attorney Antonio Delgado, Green Party candidate Steven Greenfield and Independent Diane Neal.

The fundraisers are not open to the public.
