A Binghamton man faces a half-dozen felony counts after police found heroin and prescription pills when they executed a search warrant.

Authorities say the drug raid occurred Wednesday at a residence on the city's North Side.

Investigators say 38-year-old Aaron Mosely of Emmett Street was arrested. He was charged with criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He also was charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force seized heroin, pills and drug packaging materials.

Mosely was held in the Binghamton police lockup. He was arraigned in city court Thursday morning and ordered held at Broome County Jail.
