Sentencing is set for May for a Harpursville man after he admitted dealing in methamphetamine.

36-year-old Matthew Mazepa pleaded guilty in Federal Court last week to conspiracy to distribute meth. And criminal possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.

Mazepa faces up to ten years in prison.

Mazepa was accused of dealing drugs from October 2017 through last April and had more than 28 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and cash in his possession as well as guns and ammunition when he was arrested on April 6.  Authorities said the man’s drug activities were going on in both Broome and Chenango Counties.
