Greater Binghamton Airport Hosts Emergency Exercises

The Greater Binghamton Airport will be looking a bit like a disaster area as emergency response teams hone their skills.

The airport is hosting the tri-annual airport exercise from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19, simulating an airport emergency event.

People traveling around the airport are encouraged to exercise caution during drill.

The exercise involves police, fire and emergency medical services agencies and will include a live fire component to simulate a full-scale event.
