Charlie Walk has resigned as president of Republic Group.

The news comes two months after the exec and The Four judge was put on leave amidst sexual misconduct charges. On January 29, Life Lab founder Tristan Coopersmith wrote an open letter to Walk, detailing the fear and disgust she felt during her year of employment with him. From lewd comments made in his office, to a forceful proposition during a party at his house, she laid out everything he did to make her feel uncomfortable and unsafe in the workplace.

In February, four more women came out with allegations against Walk in an exclusive Rolling Stone article, detailing incidences that occurred during his time at Columbia, Epic and Republic, where he'd been since 2013. Walk has denied all claims.

"I did not do these things and this is not who I am," he said in a statement for the Rolling Stone story. "Throughout my career I have always sought to conduct myself professionally and appropriately. It is upsetting to be presented with false claims from long ago that I know to be untrue and were never reported. I support the national discussion taking place right now because I believe fully in the importance in treating everyone with respect and dignity at all times."

Republic Group gave a short statement about Walk's exit to Billboard: "Republic Records and Charlie Walk have mutually agreed to part ways.”
