Wild 104 and our sister Townsquare Media stations teamed up with Fidelis Care and Hillcrest RV for Food-A-Bago. We've been here since Monday, October 31st collecting food and/or monetary donations to go towards Broome Country CHOW! Sadly this is our last day & we're bringing all of these incredible donations over to CHOW at 10 this morning!

All the donations stay local and help Southern Tier families during this tough holiday season. One of the amazing things about CHOW is their ability to stretch funds through their partnerships and get the most for their money; for example a $1 donation to CHOW can make a total of 4 meals!!!!!!

This video below was taken today (Monday) on our last day of Food-A-Bago & as you can see you guys did INCREDIBLE with our donations!!

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Mike Leahey, the director for Broome County CHOW, a number of times this week, and I have learned so much about the organization. On an average month or so, Mike was describing to me how they will feed about 5,000 people just in the Southern Tier. That number is WAY too high and we need to be doing more to help out!

Final numbers on food weight to come soon... However we did collect about $1,200 in monetary donations and with CHOW, for every $1 they can make 4 meals! So your guys $1,200 donation just made over 4,800 meals for CHOW, that is truly incredible!!!!!!

Thank you to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force (Southern Tier Region) for donating food in loving memory of Officer D.W. Smith and Trooper Christopher Skinner who were killed in the line of duty a few years ago - Jackie Nutt

There isn't enough gratitude to show to you all how much this meant to us, our community and CHOW, thank you so much from the bottoms of our hearts!! If any of you need information on CHOW, whether you want to donate or need their help, it's all right here!

& remember that one year you might need CHOW's help, and the next you can be back on your feet... sometimes life just happens!
