Food-A-Bago continues the CHOW food drive at the Weis parking lot, 1290 Front Street, Binghamton.  Wild 104 and Townsquare Media personnel are on hand to help collect  food and monetary donations. During evening and overnight hours donations can be left in large blue CHOW barrels for pick-up the next morning.

Hundreds of people have visited the collection site to drop off non-perishable food items or make monetary donations for CHOW.  Many local businesses are collecting or purchasing food for CHOW and challenging other businesses and organizations to match or surpass their donation.  Organizers are looking to fill a huge RV from Hillcrest RV with food to help CHOW feed needy people in our community.

Earlier today (Wednesday) Johnson City Police matched a Broome County Sheriff's Department "Shopping Cart Challenge" and donated $500 worth of food to CHOW. The food filled three shopping carts.  Other businesses were doing the same with the goal being to supply CHOW with as much as ten tons of food.  Cash and check donations are also welcome.  CHOW can utilize monetary donations by buying in bulk with an excellent return on each dollar.
