"The Boys are Back in Town".  The Binghamton Devils opened their training camp today (Tuesday) at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.  First-year coach Mark Dennehy welcomed New Jersey prospects to town with a morning practice.  While many of the players who are in Binghamtoon now will open the season here there are still cuts to be made at the NHL level that will likely send additional players here.

Dennehy comes to the Devils and Binghamton after coaching at Merrimack College in Hockey East for 13 seasons.  He was hired to coach Wheeling in the ECHL earlier this summer but departed when offered the job in Binghamton.

The Devils are holding an open practice this Thursday (9/27) at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Doors open at 10 A.M. with practice set to begin at 10:30 A.M.

The Devils will play a pair of preseason games this weekend.  The first game will be on Friday at 7:00 P.M. in Utica.  Then the two teams meet on Saturday evening (9/29/18) here in Binghamton at 7:05.  The Devils open their regular season at home on Saturday, October 6 versus the Toronto Marlies at 7:05 P.M.
