A Deposit man is accused of possessing drugs and lying to authorities about his identity.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they stopped 33 year old Scott Lord driving on Upper Front Street in the Town of Dickinson shortly before 2:30 a.m. September 12 for a traffic violation.

Deputies say they found he had methamphetamine, crack cocaine, heroin and LSD in his possession. Authorities say their investigation found Lord lied about his name even after being warned about the consequences.

Lord is charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and several vehicle and traffic law violations.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Dickinson Court at a later date.
