A Deposit man is facing charges following two disputes reported to New York State Police in one day.

Troopers say they were called to a report of a man out of control at a home on Wheeler Street in the Village at 2:15 a.m. February 7 and arrested 27 year old Chase DeGraw for allegedly displaying a handgun to a woman and yelling at her.  Troopers say the incident caused the woman to fear for her safety.

At 6:47 p.m. that same day, troopers say DeGraw was arrested again at the same home, violating an order of protection by attempting to communicate with the woman.

DeGraw is charged with misdemeanor menacing for the first incident and criminal contempt for the second incident.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail on $5,000 bail.
