City fire crews were called to a report of an "active fire" at 129 Susquehanna Street shortly after 5:30 a.m. October 25.

The building was evacuated and there were reports of "12 to 15" people walking around outside the apartment house about a half hour after the initial call came in.

Some crews were returning from the scene by 6:40 a.m.

There is no word on the cause of the fire or extent of damage.

The building at 129 Susquehanna Street has had a storied past with the City announcing condemnation proceedings against the property in 2016 due to "dangerous conditions."
