The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team defeated the New Hampshire Wildcats (UNH) in Durham at Lundholm Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 71-62. The win ups BU's record to 6-9 overall and 1-1 in America East.  The Wildcats fall to 3-12 overall and 0-2 in the conference,

Carly Boland scored a career high 23 points for BU going eight for nine from the field and hitting all four of her free throws.  Rebecca Carmody also had a huge game for the Bearcats scoring 18 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

The win at New Hampshire concludes three consecutive games on the road for Binghamton.  BU made 22 of 24 free throw attempts and rolled up a 28-0 edge in points off the bench.

The BU women return to the Events Center to host Stony Brook at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday night.  Air is set for 6:45 P.M. on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM WYOS.
