Binghamton Police Investigate Violent Incident on South Side

City of Binghamton Police are investigating a domestic incident on the Southside that has sent at least one man to the hospital with injuries.

Authorities reported little cooperation from the injured person or others involved in the incident shortly after 2:30 a.m. August 16 on Moore Avenue.

There had been early indication that a gun may have been involved but Binghamton Police would not confirm any details of the investigation that is in its early stages.

One man was seen being transported by ambulance to a hospital.  He was awake and vocal at the time.  The nature and extent of his injuries have not been released by the authorities.
