Jordan Jicha has acquired the Full Belly Deli at 1550 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal. He has owned the Old World Deli on Court Street in Binghamton since January 1.

Jicha said the Vestal business has been in operation for more than a decade.

David and Cheyl Rosenbloom have owned the Full Belly Deli for the past years. Health issues prompted them to put the business up for sale. They were prepared to close the place if they were unable to find a buyer.

Jicha said he is officially taking ownership of the Vestal establishment as of Tuesday. He said he had become aware of the situation facing the owners and started to talk with them a couple of weeks ago.

Jicha said he plans to make some minor changes including some menu adjustments at the Fully Belly Deli. He said he hopes to offer the customers of the Vestal business more options, including some more creative sandwich choices.
