I am the Brand Manager for Wild 104, the Southern Tier's #1 Hit Music Station, and a DJ for over 20 years now (yikes!). My first station was R.I.T.'s WITR in the early 90's, where I first used the air name "Matty J". I then started an internship in Syracuse, working for "The Ragman", who gave me the air name "Jimmy Olsen" on 93Q. UNFORTUNATELY, the nick name stuck, and I spent a good dozen years there, as an intern, then weekend part-time DJ, overnight DJ, night-time DJ/Music Director, and finally midday DJ/Assistant Program Director. In 2006, I got the opportunity to come down to Binghamton to run Wild 104, and I have enjoyed my time here since. I was married last summer, and am happy to say the honeymoon continues. I enjoy hosting two team trivia nights here in Binghamton, on Tuesday nights at Applebee's on the Vestal Parkway, and on Thursday nights at Antonio's Galleria and Cafe in Endicott. Join me some time for a trivia night! As Wild 104 Brand Manager, I am ultimately responsible for anything you hear on the radio station or see on this website. Please email me with any comments or suggestions. Thanks for visiting.

These ‘Cereal Killers’ Are A Great Trick-Or-Treat Idea
One of the teams that comes out to my Tuesday Night Trivia calls themselves the 'Hot Tamales', and show up every week to have fun, and try to win 1st place. They are also very creative around all of the holidays, and Halloween has been no exception. Amy, one of the 'Tamales', gave me these trick-or-treats last night. CEREAL KILLERS!!!
Were You a Little Over-Prepared For Sandy? Bring That Extra Non-Perishable Food to the Food-A-Bago
Judging by my trip to the grocery store on Sunday night, many of us heeded the warning to stock up on food before the storm. Fortunately for our area, the power stayed on for most of us, and the storm wasn't the tragedy it could have been. Now that you've over-filled your pantry, help us stock up CHOW's pantry with our annual Food-A-Bago food drive starting Monday.

Parents Watch Out, There’s a Dum Dums Chain-Sucker On Our Streets
The house I live in is within walking distance of three fast-food restaurants, and a convenience store, so I am forever finding trash in my yard. Apparently, people eat what they buy while they walk, and toss whatever trash they have, wherever they finish the food. Yeah, it's gross, but I just pick it up and go on with my life. This morning however, I found a very strange pile of trash on my si
Bruno Mars Steals From ‘The Police,’ No Charges Filed
Maybe 'steals' is being a little tough, but from the first time I heard the new Bruno Mars song 'Locked out of Heaven', I knew it sounded familiar. Immediately I thought of English rock band 'The Police', but exactly what song was eluding me. After doing a little browsing on iTunes, I think I have it. Give a listen to the two song clips and tell me what you think.
How Max Headroom and a Ninja Star Made My Favorite Halloween Ever
When I was growing up, my favorite thing to do at Halloween was to make my own costume from scratch. Scratch usually meant cardboard, duct tape, spray paint, and electronic components repurposed from toys and household appliances. If I could make it light up, or make sounds, I did. My favorite of these costumes was Max Headroom, and it was the year I got a NINJA STAR in my trick-or-treat bag.
