The Bowie Baysox stopped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies three game winning streak last night and the Ponies look to start another winning streak this afternoon. Even though they lost, 7-0, there were some highlights.

Future New York Met pitching star, Christian James made his 2018 debut and is the youngest Binghamton pitcher (20 years, 3 days) since Jennry Mejia in 2009. He's also the first 20 year old to throw for Binghamton since Noah Syndergaard in 2013.

That's why I always encourage you to go to the games, it's your chance to see the future stars in our own backyard. Besides Syndergaard, we've had the likes of Jose Reyes and David Wright at NYSEG Stadium. Let's not forget that Tim Tebow is here too.

Another highlight was after the game when the Ponies gave us another spectacular fireworks show. If you haven't been to see the fireworks, you are missing some of the best you'll ever see in our area.

Today the Ponies wrap up their four game set with Bowie and if you're a active duty or retired member of any branch of the military then you can get two free tickets to today's game.

Bring a valid ID to the NYSEG Stadium box office and get your free tickets. Two tickets will be given per military ID. It's also Uncle Rowdy bobble head day with the first 1,000 fans through the gates getting a Rowdy bobble head.

First pitch is at 2:05.
